This website
The website vbolt.app has no forms, no analytics or advertising services and no embedded third-party content. Fonts and images are served from our own server.
Language cookie
If you pick a language by hand, your browser stores the cookie "lang" with the value de or en for 12 months, so the home page opens in your language. It contains nothing else and is not shared. Without it, the language follows your browser.
Server logs
When you visit, our host Railway (Railway Corp., USA, servers in the Netherlands) processes technically necessary data such as IP address, time and requested address to deliver the page and protect it from abuse. Railway deletes these logs after 7 to 30 days depending on the plan; we do not analyse them.
Transfers abroad
Railway is a US company. Any transfer there relies on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses in Railway’s data processing addendum, which the Swiss FDPIC recognises as a safeguard.
Legal basis
For visitors from the EU: legitimate interest in operating the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The web app
The web app at app.vbolt.app is currently open to existing accounts only. It will get its own privacy policy before new accounts are possible.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data at any time. Write to hello@vbolt.app. You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, from the EU, to your local supervisory authority.
